Hardwood Manufacturer 50″ Fan

A hardwood flooring manufacturer contacted Horner about repairing a 50” Fan. With help from Indianapolis Field Service, Horner Fan and Fabrication had a 3 day window to repair this 50” fan wheel. This was the main dust collection fan for the plant. The structure around this fan made it very challenging to remove. The fan is inside the plant with structural steel above the fan and a concrete wall on two sides. Powerplant Turbine Vent Fan/Motor

A power plant’s combined cycle generating station contacted Horner Salesperson Joseph Motz on Friday 12/16/22 regarding one of the Turbine Vent fan motors which had failed and was going to need to be replaced or repaired. As this motor is not accessible while the Turbine generator is running, Horner could not verify Motor dimensions for the possible replacement of the original OEM motor. Vibration Issue on Forced Draft Fan

A 100 year old steam plant was having a long standing vibration issue that they could not correct. Our EMDS department determined the likely issue was the hub to shaft fit.
