An Iron and Metal Recycling Facility, Located in Dayton, Ohio called and had a transformer fail and was asking for help. I contacted Don Morris to asked for his assistance. Between Don and Mike Butler, we decided to get Springfield Field Service involved. Jim Delawder and I were to make a site visit, collect photos and information to feed back to Don for evaluation. Power Loss At Foundry Results in Only One Shift of Downtime

On August 14 while at a forging plant in Portland In, Horner technicians were already onsite for arc flash data collection. During this time the entire plant experienced a power loss as one of their eight padmount transformers failing. Mike Croft and Ryan Haffenden were already onsite and were immediately called upon to assess the situation.
