Automotive Parts Manufacturer Hydraulic Failure
A large automotive parts manufacturer had a failure of a barrel and piston rod assembly on a die cast machine from overuse and lack of maintenance on their part. The Hydraulic division had several conference calls with the customer to talk about different options. Finding materials to complete this job was very challenging and the customer was in a bind due to their expensive contract penalties that were to incur if they fell too far behind. The parts were found in Italy and the Cincinnati Hydraulic Shop team sprang into action and got the customer back to manufacturing. This showcases the knowledge and experience the Horner team has and a big fan it has made the customer.
