Summary
The General Helper will be responsible for all general shop work within Horner’s Cylinder Shop. The General Helper will assist all duties including Shipping and Receiving.
Responsibilities
- Processing paperwork
- General shop work
- Assist Mechanics and Machinist as needed
- Shipping & Receiving (light lifting)
- Forklift & Crane operation
- Local pick-ups and deliveries in a company vehicle etc.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience working in a industrial or manufacturing atmosphere
- Shipping and Receiving experience preferred
- Previous mechanical or shop experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
Skills
- Enthusiasm to learn and grow
- Dependable and punctual
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Education
- Highschool Diploma or GED
